Senior Planning Manager - Rail
A group consortium responsible for the Riyadh Metro is looking for a Strategic hire to join the rail PMO office as a Senior Planning Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities for the Rail Planning Manager:
â€¢Responsible for leading the Planning discipline & Riyadh Metro consortium
â€¢Develop and manage the implementation of a Planning and Scheduling Procedure that satisfies the Client requirements.
â€¢Develop and manage the Master Works Programme to meet project objectives and Client requirements.
â€¢Establish and manage the Work Breakdown Structure.
â€¢Manage the agreed allocation of Budget Costs and Major Resources to the Master Works Programme.
â€¢Meet and communicate with Joint Venture planning and delivery teams to ensure programme integration.
â€¢Establish an agreed set of Programme Milestones and monitor and manage their status during the course of the works.
â€¢Meet and communicate with Joint Venture planning and delivery teams to assist in the resolution of programme delivery conflicts and development of schedule opportunities.
â€¢Ensure the timely and accurate monitoring and reporting of progress in the Master Works Programme.
â€¢Manage the timely and accurate production of monthly Earned Value Analysis reports.
â€¢Assist in the identification and management of project schedule risks and propose mitigation actions.
â€¢Assist in the identification of schedule delay in order to 1) identify areas requiring mitigation or 2) demonstrate entitlement.
â€¢Summarise project status for Senior Management, highlighting unresolved major risks and potential overruns.
â€¢Manage the timely and accurate production of monthly data for Project Reports.
â€¢Manage and report monthly on the FAST Internal Working Programme.
â€¢Provide planning support to the Contract and Commercial teams in all scheduling related matters.
Education / Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or suitable equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of project scheduling experience on major construction projects including cost & schedule management, progress measurement.
Computer Skills: Proficient with Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of Tilos
