Project Manager Kent based multi-disciplinary civil engineering and construction company, delivering projects that are time and safety critical in environments within the Rail, Transport and Power sectors.Our projects range from £100,000 up to £2 million; specialising in works such as platform & station upgrade work, sub-station construction including design, equipment enclosures and bases, cable route works, civils and general building.We are looking for Project Managers with strong commercial knowledge who are enthusiastic, and can work efficiently under pressure.We can offer an excellent working environment, based in Northfleet, Kent that is easily accessible from the A2/M25. We pride ourselves on our friendly working atmosphere where hard work and commitment are rewarded and there are progression opportunities available for various roles.The role will include the day to day project delivery to include management of site activity, programming work and resources, health, safety and environmental planning and monitoring, client and contractor liaison and reporting on project progress.The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and personal qualities - Will have a solid work history in a similar role with experience on London Underground works.Ability to work well under pressure and be able to deal with ambiguityExperience of working with a direct workforce and organising work activitiesHave a sound experience of building / civils worksExcellent commercial awareness including contractsProficient using Microsoft Office - Word, Outlook and ExcelPeople management of site and office staff along with client liaison skillsPlanning - good organisational skills with priority to carry out job to a high, accurate standardWill have experience and understanding of producing and maintaining a high standard of paperwork.Knowledge and understanding of HSEQSalary: £60k plus car or car allowance
